Hmmmm...

The art was ok, but some parts wasn't drawn well enough.
The animation was a bit too fast, have a slower FPS perhaps or add in-between frames.
The story was short and there wasn't really any humor...
But over all its a good try! Just keep on practicing

Nicely done!

Even though the art was very simple, I love the way you made the mouth and the eyes keep moving!
Arguing apples are also apples!
Did you also try copying danboe? :D

Manhasted responds:

Have no idea who Danboe is :P This was more of an experiment on how to lip sync, thanks for commenting :D

OMG! This is AWESOME!

Hahah amazing and funny!
The art was awesome! The animation on pokemon's gestures are smooth!
The only problem was you need more voice actors... Ill be extra voices.

PostTimeskipSam responds:

With my previous animation Magikarp vs Metapod, I didn't want to change the voices of the two trainers so I kept them as is. However, if I ever plan to do another Pokemon battle, it will feature new trainers that aren't voiced by me.

Aw3some!

1) It was very simple and cute, but ok,
2) On the animation, you used a lot of tweens on the pics, but use different drawing on the characters you made yourself.
3) Put a preloader next time so that it wouldnt start itself and stop looping.
4) If you are using Adobe Flash, go to publish settings and on the flash tab, put your event and stream sound quality to 128kpbs for better sound quality
5) You kinda copied Spirit Science huh? :P
So anyway it was informative, and it was ok! :D

NeverZone responds:

Thanks for the sound quality check... i'v been meaning to figure that one out.
And yea I did use similar formatting from that of spirit science XD.

YEAH COOL!

YAY its toonwerks, the people who also made wonders of the universe!
As usual, the story is awesome, and the art was amazing!
This really inspires me to continue on with studying flash...
and also to play minecraft XP

Ok...

Yeah, I do understand claymation is very hard, and the effort in making this is actually not bad...
But its kinda laggy, and I think you need to add more picures between it...
I really dont know, never tried claymation...

I dont know...

Well the art suck, there was no story, and the animation was slow...
I guess draw something more inviting, make a story that is very interesting, and do FBF on some parts and not overusing tweens...
Just keep on practicing!
Add a preloader next time and put you sound to stream.

CBaum responds:

Yeah I certainly agree with you that this is far below the technical artistic standard of submissions that are positively received on newgrounds, and I would even say this is far below my own technical standard, if you care to watch my other, much older, non freddy fish cartoons you will see this to be true, but I wont be offended if you don't. When I was younger I put a lot more time into my flash.

My last four submissions have been a part of this freddy fish series, and my aim with them is too achieve contextual hilarity in the manner that flash lends itself to shoddy animation. I am grateful only that it passed judgement, and I certainly don't think I deserve a high score for this because I didn't work very hard on the technical aspects at all. After submitting it I personally felt that there were a few small things I could have done which would have vastly improved its presentation and reception without jeopardizing the stylization I was going for, but personally now that it has passed judgement already I don't think those improvements would have necessarily made it any funnier, so I don't regret neglecting to spend the extra half hour of work. I do think that what I created is very funny, and I will continue to produce more of these in the future, as I think these are worth sharing with the portion of users who at least see it the way I do. I personally am proud of what I made. I think this cartoon merits a great deal of appreciation, and I would not have submitted it if I did not think so. From my perspective it is a given that whenever I show this cartoon to someone, its merit is entirely literary and not at all due to any sort of artistic accomplishment or any grand demonstration of painstaking time and effort. I think it is close minded to judge a cartoon solely on how impressive of a technical feat it is, and to dismiss a piece of work which may present a valuable idea, or elicit a particular psychological response from a viewer, simply because it feels rushed or lazy.

The preloader thing annoyed me, as I am using flash mx 2004 on my laptop and I was surprised that none of the preloader files, to the best of my knowledge, would open when I downloaded them, and I dont have a saved version of the old pre loader I have used in the past because I made this on my laptop and most of my flash work is on my parent's desktop in another city. If I find myself unable to resolve this next time I do flash, I will undertake to follow a tutorial and make one myself, as I doubt it could really be that hard.

Well thanks for taking the time to watch it and review it, I guess that is all I have to say, and I hope you can maybe appreciate it a bit more now, at least in a lulzy sense, but if you dont I wont be offended.

I really really really love this!
