And guess what, I'm not sick like last year!

My parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I told them I wanted a flat cap!

I was kinda nervous at first since this is my first time buying something on the internet, but I'm so excited to finally get it!

Never likes baseball caps so this would be my first cap that I would seem to wear around a lot! :3

Thanks to Jazza, he gave a website with a preset that actually is useful to me!
It's a brush that seems to be a lot about noise and gives off this pencil looking lines!
Best part is, it doesn't have to be smooth because it looks better that way!
No more hard round brushes for me and pen tools. :3

Out of all the advise people gave me, they said to practice, practice and practice.
I was willing to practice, until people told me to do life art.
The thing that motivatee me cartoons and I love how cartoons just over exaggerate stuff especially their expressions.
But I need to have a good idea on how the human face looks like to contruct something like that.
Also, I'm having trouble drawing objects and shading them to give them solidity.
I'm stuck with cell shading with my art and I want to do something more beautiful.
So, if the way to improve is not to do what motivates me to improve, I'm not that willing to give time to something I don't want to do...
Or maybe I'm just being lazy, but I don't know...

My art thread.
Hey guys.
So Ive created another art thread. This time, maybe Ill be more serious doing something original.
Im getting great advice in Deviant and Newgrounds, but right now, I dont feel like what Im doing is actually making me a better artist.
I am so lost right now and kina worried that I would forever be stuck doing bad art and only doing decently good fan art.
Anyway, feel free to leave advices though...im going to need it.

From left, the 1st one is a 5H pencil. It's super light and I just use it for sketching.
The 2nd two pencils are H ones. I use it to solidify the sketch cause the first sketch always looks squigly...um...sketchy. Like how the eyes' size arent equal and have to squigle a few circles until I got it right then use the H pencil to solidify it. Then added guides and wrinkles to clothes, fur, etc. all those details.
The next ones are HB pencils. Also known as No. 2 pencils where I usually use these for school. Also use these to solidify the sketch even more. But if Im studying, I use these a lot for doodling.
The next one is a 4B pencil. I use this to finalize and darken the sketch, which becomes my line art. I love this pencil.
The final one is 6B. My dad just found this when he was working. I sometimes use it, but it's too dark for me.

I dont know why I have all these pencils, but it leaves out the trouble of me erasing the sketch since it isnt too noticable when I finalize it with the darker pencils.
And I am most definitely a bad artist...

Ok, back to drawing.

So, just finished playing Episode 1 of Wolf Among Us.
I really liked the fact of fairy tale animals living in a New York modern environment and also speaking like one.
I've already known about Fable long ago when browsing the book store and seeing how this get an Eisner Award, but only recently tried to read the comics.
I really liked seeing one of the three little pigs sneak inside the home of the big bad wolf and having a conversation while both of them are smoking. That's just brilliant!

I really hate liking a fictional character and killing them off.
And since the comic was made way back on 2003, TellTale just made it harder for me to deal with his death!

Ugh, this is just me saying stuff cause I haven't posted in a while...
